This session foresees an open discussion on the European Innovation Council (EIC) pilot running under the Horizon 2020 programme designed to provide funding and opportunities to innovators, start-ups and companies. Insights about how it will work and considerations for the future will be presented, followed by thoughts on how to support SMEs in promoting their innovations, with a view on how to accelerate disruptive innovation.
