Session 2.3 – Role of design inside industry processes

30 October 2018, 16:00-17:00, room STRAUSS 2

Creative design is an important competitive factor for the European economy not only limited to the last stage of product development but also a key driver of innovation processes, developing the sector of creative industries. The early upstream collaboration of product designers, material scientists and engineers, is a critical step in having citizens’ choices included throughout the development of a product. Such creative approaches may also support the development of customised solutions for matching sustainability goals.
